Deelnemers HOW&WOW Dutch Design Week 2019

Fleur Peters is gefascineerd door licht en kleur, dit vertaalt zich in werk van glas, waarin ze de relatie onderzoekt tussen ambacht en hedendaags design. Peters vindt het belangrijk om traditionele ambachten te ontwikkelen en ervoor te zorgen dat kennis en cultureel erfgoed bewaard blijven. Dit doet ze door ambachten te combineren met industriële productieprocessen en het beste van die twee werelden samen te brengen.

WdKA X IN10 bootcamp attendees win prestigious graduation awards

On July 14th the Research Award ceremony for graduates of the Willem de Kooning Academy (WdKA) took place. One day earlier the Drempelprijs, issued annually since 1962 by the Municipality of Rotterdam, was awarded. Graduate students Chloë Severien and Fleur Peters both won an award with their innovative concepts. IN10 guided them and eight other students during their graduation process with a creative business bootcamp, set up in collaboration with WdKA Commercial Practices.

14.07.2019 - Research award 2019, the winners!

The WdKA Research Award ​was established by the Willem de Kooning Foundation in 2015 to emphasize the central role of art and design research within the newly introduced curriculum. The Willem de Kooning Research Awards are not prizes for just theses or research documents but for projects merging theory and practice where art or design work is a vital part of the research. Research Award ceremony for both Bachelor and Master graduates took place on July 14th.

The Graduation Show embodies our path of self-directed learning and the ability to cross existing boundaries: we dare you to explore new territories, create new horizons and acquire a variety of new skills.
